Chapter Six
Bella POV
Edward hasn't left my side since Hayley and her 'friends' arrived. Her 'friends' still have yet to come and meet us. She must be the leader or spokeswoman of the group.
“Yes, I am. Those two couldn't lead anything, and I'm the one with powers.” Hayley's high pitched voice answered my thoughts.
We were now all sitting in the living room. Carsile and Esme sat together on the love seat. Jasper sat on the other end of the couch from Hayley, with Alice on his lap. Edward and I sat on the bottom of the Cullens curved staircase. Edward had his arm molded around my waist, holding me tight. Of course I didn't mind when he pulled me onto his lap. I was glad that I was now even closer to him, I still was bit wary of Hayley. I didn't feel safe enough just sitting by his side.
“Hayley, may I ask why you have come here?” Carsile, thankfully, broke the ackward silence.
“Well, Carsile, I am here to finish my assignment. It was given to me by my leader.” She answered.
“Your leader?Doe's she have a name perhaps?”
“Yes, but she hasn't ever told me yet. She prefers I call her 'Boss'.”
“Here, this will help you.” Hayley took a folded piece of notebook paper from her pocket. “It's an address. That's where you can find your precious blondie.” She rolled her liquid gold eyes.
“Thank you very much Hayley. We're very grateful for this.” He held out a hand for her to shake.
She shook his hand. “Believe me when I say this, There is really no need to thank me.”
She turned to smile at us all. It was so obviously fake. The smile looked fake and unnatural.Then she was gone. Edward and I went over to the window. Hayley and her 'friends' were heading back into the dark forest. Hayley looked back over her shoulder and laughed.
I turned back to the room. Carsile, Emmett, and Esme were now in the kitchen discussing a plan on what to do next. Jasper was sitting on the couch. He looked very upset. Possibly from all of the up and down emotions he felt coming from us all.Alice was next to him, she kept asking what was wrong and how could she help.
Jasper POV
“Jazz please tell me what it is. What's wrong?” My love asked.
Truthfully it was their emotions. They were all coming at me at once. I sent soothing waves of calm through the room.
“Everyone please calm down. Your emotions are driving me crazy!” I could feel so many emotions that it was giving me a headache.
I heard Emmett get angrier from the other room. We went to join them in the kitchen.
“What are we still doing here?” Emmett screamed at Carsile. “They gave us the address to where my Rosie is at, and you guys want to stay here and talk?”
Carsile placed his hand on Emmetts shoulder. Emmett shrugged it off quickly. I sent more calm towards Emmett.
“Emmett it might not work like that.They could be sending us straight into their trap.”
“I know but Carsile, What if it were Esme?” He turned to Edward. “Or Bella?” Now he looked at me. “Or Alice?”
He turned back to face Carsile. “What If the love of your life, the reason you exist, got stolen from you?”
