Alright. Alot of questions and fan picks are planting many thoughts in my mind. So I'm going to return to writing articles to vent about them, cuz it's not too healthy to keep this kind of stuff in :)

Saying it right now. This article won't be formal. It's opinionated. And, I'm going to try not to be biased. This article is to mainly sort out all my thoughts and, not problems, but minor disagreements with alot of comments made. There will be no namecalling. Just clear discussion. Feel free to comment if you disagree with anything I say. Striking up debates... I love it!

Alright. To start off, this Edward vs. Jacob debate has always been here. Lol. And one of the first things that irks me is how fans say Edward was reckless and stupid to leave Bella in New Moon without thinking to check up on here once in a while. This topic will have me going for a while, so I suggest you take your seat. :P Again, and again, I have defended Edward from this. And I will continue to do so. Again, I say, Edward left to protect Bella. I admit, it was a mistake. But, that's what makes his character human. He didn't know the full extent of the consequence of his decision would be. The consequence being Bella letting danger be her hope and her addiction. Edward didn't know Bella loved him so much. Since he can't read her mind, he didn't know she was so attatched to him. Also, must I remind Jacob fans again, that Jacob left to protect Bella as well. When he was changing into a werewolf, he left her to protect her from himself.

Now, we've talked about Jacob and Edward's ~flaws, let's look at Bella. Since we've all read the books from her eyes, her mind, we know her the best, naturally. One of the things that irritated me in the books was in Eclipse. Though, Jacob will be included in this particular topic. Jacob forcefully kissed Bella. He used guilt to make her kiss him. Of course, people will use that as him just making her see for herself that she loves him. However, I disagree, most of you know that. But, the quirk that I'm talking about is when Bella tells Edward. She is disgusted with herself. And, what does Edward do? He doesn't yell at her, he doesn't insult her. He embraces her. He shows her, and us readers, how much he loves her. How is it that people say Edward is controlling when he didn't raise a finger at her? When he didn't saying in protest when she confessed her kiss to Jacob? He let her have a decision to whom she will choose because it is HER choice. Not his, not Jacob's. Jacob forces her to choose. He forces her and pushes her to take him. Edward lets it be. I'm not trying to be biased. I'm seeing it as it is. I've tried to look at this particular subject from different points of view, but I can't see it any other way than this.

And, ah. Here is the tent scene. One of the infamous chapters in the entire series, Chapter 22 of Eclipse. Fire and Ice. Alot of Bella and Edward fans HATE that chapter. Well, at least from what I've witnessed. And in a way, I can agree. I didn't like Jacob's cockiness and ~immaturity and lack of understanding towards Edward. He knows Edward's ability, yet he thinks of Bella in ~different ways. I'll leave it at that. But, I enjoy reading the chapter. I will again, say it showed what Edward was thinking in New Moon. We never knew what he was thinking, and we were always playing of of what Bella said. But, this time, we were able to hear what he was going through in his words. It showed how pained he was, and showed the 4 different scenerios he thought of.

Another... Edward is a vampire. He's dangerous. Jacob is a werewolf. He's also dangerous. I think we can all say, both are dangerous for Bella and well, we can't hold it against the other.

Controlling. I can admit, Edward is controlling, but it's because he loves her. And... before Jacob fans yell at me for saying such a "cliche" answer, I'll elaborate. We all know Bella is not the best judge of what is dangerous. Edward knows that. He tells her not to go to La Push because he fears for her safety. Werewovles are dangerous. BUT, in chapter 8 of Eclipse, he says he was wrong to hold her against her will, so he was willing to let her make her own decision when it came to La Push. He acknowledges his flaws in Eclipse. How can you hold it against him?

And while I'm adding, I'm just going to say it. It's been on my mind for quite some time. THE ACTORS ARE NOT THE CHARACTERS! THEY ONLY PORTRAY THEM! Lol, let me explain. Alot of newer fans, of Edward or Jacob, like the characters because of the actors. Well, the actors are not the characters. They try to show the character's traits to the best of their ability. It doesn't mean that the character they play is what the character is in the books. Am I making sense?

I'm sure I've forgotten others topics that I wanted to express my feelings to. I'll edit later. But, if you have any comments, please, comment. :) I love to know what you guys think :)
