He brushed my cheek and then I crawled in his arms. Right after that, he started humming my lullaby. I fall sleep sooner than I ever did.
When I opened my eyes, Edward was standing near the window, looking out, with his right hand on the glass. His eyes narrowed and when he recognized that I was awake, he came in my bed, and then he put his lips on mine and kissed me.
-Nice wake up alarm.
We both chuckled as I said the words.

I said as I looked out of my window. There was no sign of the sun in the sky.
-I’ll be waiting for you in my car.
I nodded and as he went out of my room, I took off my tank top and got dressed for school. I was late for school so I didn’t eat anything. Edward was waiting for me in a new car that wasn’t familiar to me.

He grinned as he started driving.
-I thought a change would not be bad!
I rolled my eyes and looked at the car. It had probably cost him so much.
-Tanya’s coming here for a few days.
My heart beat got fast. I couldn’t stop myself from being aware to see her. I was afraid to see how beautiful she was. I couldn’t even think of meeting her.
-Bella, are you alright?
I looked at him. I couldn’t lose him, ever. Edward had assured me before that I was the love of his life, and I believed him. Every time he said “I love u” I believed it with all my body.
“Bella, you’re freaking the hell out of me! Can you talk please?”
My mind was too busy for allowing me to talk.
“I’m not really interested in seeing her, Edward”
I choked the words.
“But she’s actually coming because she wants to see you”
He opened his jaw and whispered what he was trying to say with also trying to read the expression on my face. We both didn’t talk until we were at school. We walked to the biology class, and still none of us said a word.
Mr. Banner was standing in the middle of the class, waiting for other students to come. After everyone was in the class, Mr. Banner cleared his throat and said:
“So… as you all know, your final exam is on Friday, which I expect all of you to get a good grade, a grade enough for passing this subject! These papers that I’m passing to you are really important. Read them at home, and study them for your exam”
He started passing some papers. I looked at mine, it wasn’t that hard but I needed to study. Edward put his paper down and laughed at it. It always made me jealous when he didn’t have to study. He knew everything and I was still amazed of how his memory worked. He could remember littlest things that happened.
Edward tried to talk with me in the middle of the class. He even started touching my hand, but I was still thinking about Tanya and I didn’t open my mouth to say a word.
“Bella!”
Alice called my name loudly and then ran toward me while I was carrying my lunch.
“Alice”
I said with a cheerful voice as I met her gaze.
“Bella, we need to talk, immediately!”
I went where she ran to and tried to listen.
“I just wanted to warn you about Tanya! She will start flirting with Edward as soon as she gets to see him. She’ll maybe say things that you don’t like… Don’t get mad! Ok?”
I nodded as anger rushed to my veins and locked my teeth together.
“Oh, I forgot to bring you the things you bought! Sorry, I’ll bring them tomorrow! Promise!”
“Hey, sis”
Edward called her as soon as his eyes caught us, talking together. Alice skipped her two last classes and left us in the cafeteria.
“Bella, what’s wrong with you? You’re mind always is silent but I hadn’t seen you not talking, this much!”
I looked up at him. He was playing with his lunch, as always and his eyes were locked on my face.
“Nothing, I’m fine”
He sighed. As he drove me home, I tried to ask her the question that was killing me.
-Is Tanya beautiful?!
He suddenly took his eyes off the road and said:
“Well… She’s a vampire, Bella! It doesn’t matter to me though! The one that matters is you!”
“Mmm-hmm”
When I was getting out of his car, I said:
“Will you come tonight?”
He bit his lip and said:
“I don’t think so!”
I got shocked as he said those words.
“Because of Tanya?”
He growled under his breath and said:
“She’s a guest, Bella! Just a few days…”
I said a cold goodbye and I got out of his car as I watched his car getting out of sight. I knew I wasn’t ready to see someone who also loved my Edward. I got into the house, did some dishwashing and made a soup for Charlie. He had got a cold lately and his coughs were not ending and he didn’t want to go to Carlisle for it.
-Hey Bells!
I looked up as he was standing next to my room’s door, looking at me while I had my head down and I was studying.
-Hey Dad!
He coughed and said:
“What do we have for dinner?! I’m starving!”
I grinned and said:
“Soup, it’s good for your cold.”
He sighed and closed my room’s door. Charlie ate his soup and actually he liked it for once and it made him better. I had gotten the recipe from Renee. She had learned it when Phil got a bad cold.
“It really tasted good, Bells!”
He said with a light smile on his face while he was eating the soup.
“Thanks Dad!”
I said with a crooked smile that I was trying so hard to make it last but I couldn’t. The idea of Edward and Tanya was killing me. I went upstairs, completed reading my literature book and went to get a shower. Warm water calmed me down a little bit. As time passed and got closer to midnight, I got ready for bed and after a goodnight to Charlie, I went to bed. I couldn’t sleep without hearing my lullaby. I turned on my CD player and started listening to my lullaby but nothing was like Edward humming it for me, with his lovely voice. I didn’t sleep well that night.
As I got out of my bed in morning, I went near my window. Edward’s car wasn’t there like always. I got ready for school and after eating a bowl of cereal and milk which I made for myself, I went out. I started my truck, and drove to the school. Jessica was standing in a corner and when she noticed my truck she waved for me. I parked my truck in the parking lot and got out. Edward’s car wasn’t there. I was getting worried as time passed but I didn’t want to call him.
“Bella”
Jessica called me as she came near me.
“Hey Jess!”
I looked at her. She was enjoying the rainy day but who could have enjoyed that day more than The Cullens?! But none of them was showing up and that made me anxious. I went to the literature class as I was searching for Edward and his family. As the class started, I was getting more and more anxious and my hands were cold.

“Can I go out?”
