Chapter Two: We'll Find A Way Through The Storm

Nothin was more worse then the fact that Ramens were behind us! Well, also the fact that they were loaded with armor, and we were loaded with defense tools and a stolen Ramen backpack. We slowly turned around, hands raised in surrender, hoping our deaths would be fast and painless. But then again, they never were.
"What!?" One Ramen asked the other, obviously ahead of the group. "What is it, boss?"
"It's a rag!" He said, holding it up for everyone, including us, to see.
I gasped, but quietly, I forgot the rag!
"Well," Said the head Ramen. "We've got an injured person, people!" The head Ramen lifted the rag to his nose and inhaled deeply. Then exhaled slowly. "Hunt them down. Find them. Bring them back here. Then kill'em!" He sniffed the rag again, and then licked the cloth. "Sweet blood!" He murmered and he pointed in our direction. "Go!"
And then the other Ramens came after us, ready for the kill!

"Where are we going?" Jake asked, running and limping at the same time.
"Anywhere but here!" I answered and we turned and hid behind a tree to see the other Ramens run straight past us a minute later.
"That...was close!" Derek said and I sighed. "Alright, we need a place to sleep and be safe for the night! Until morning comes, we need to be extra careful! Got it?"
"Got it!" Jake and I said in unison.
"Alright, on three we go and find shelter! One..." We got to our feet, and lifted Jake to help him stagger to our new home until morning. "Two..." We looked around us, making sure that no one would or could see us moving to our shelter. "Three!" And we took off!
Derek was leading the way, and Jake and I were just following without word of argue. We walked through tall weeds, past hundreds of trees, and just as we thought we were gonna have to keep walking somemore, Derek pointed to a cave behind a giant rock.
"Come on!" He whispered, and we followed.
As we entered the cave, we stopped dead to see a young couple making love, thinking this was gonna be there last times together.
"This is occupied!" I whispered, too low for the lovers to hear over the whispered moans.
"This way!" Jake whispered back.
We kept walking and walking and then finally I saw our destination. "Over there!" I pointed to five jagged rocks in the middle of nowhere. They all were in a circle, and there was light coming from it. We walked closer to it, and walked inside.
"HEY! GET OUT OF HERE!" A voice hissed.
"Sorry!" We whispered. "Were leaving."
"Wait a minute..." The voice said, and three beats later, a two figures emerged from a dark corner. "You guys aren't Ramens!"
"Were Bounty..." Jake whispered.
"Just like us..." The other figure said. "He's hurt!"
"Stay back, Zo!" The first figure said, blocking the Zo's path with his arm. "We can't trust him."
"He's hurt Rick! He's bleeding!" Zo whimpered.
"Let him bleed!" Rick ordered. "They could be Ramens who got jumped by some Bounty!"
"How...dare you!" I said, giving Jake to Derek to support, and walking forward towards Rick. "We are being hunted down as we speak by the Ramen kind! If you can't help us, then so be it! Just let us stay here until we can find a permanent place to stay!"
"No!" Rick said after thinking.
"Why...not?" Jake asked.
"Cause I dont know if your Bounty or Ramen." Rick said.
"The hell with Ramens!" Zo said tearing past Rick and towards Jake.
"Zo-" Rick said taking a step forward.
"Dont you dare think for a second that I'll come back by your side! They are Bounty, just like us, I can feel it!" Zo argued.
"Bu-"
"Dont but me! If they kill us, its better then staying here in this stupid game! Remember when you told me to trust you? I did! So now you gotta trust me!" Zo replied and Rick stopped dead in his tracks.
"Okay. I trust you. But if they come after us with a knife...just be cautious!" Rick said beckoning us towards the corner where they both emerged.
"Come on," Zo said, helping Derek and I support Jake as we headed towards the corner we were beckoned to, only to find out there were some steps leading down under the ground into a huge room filled with food, water, and other survival needs.
"Whoa!" I said and Zo took Jake and Derek to lay Jake on the bed down by the far end of the huge room.
"I know! Zo and I have been here for years!" Rick said, taking a boulder from the ground, and shoving it through the whole covering it up so no one found this place. And just for safety he put a sand covered metal board and placed it right under it just incase some one moved the boulder.
"Ten to be exact!" Zo said looking through a box labeled AMBULANCE with a red cross on it, searching for the exact medicle tool to heal Jake.
"We've been able to survive the Ramens for ten years! And being as this is your..."
"First!" I said.
"Second!" Jake whispered.
"First as well." Derek added.
"First and second years! We've been able to jump some Ramens, kill them, steal there supplies long enough to stock up down here! Though it is secretive! Did you see the two love making fools back in that cave?" Rick asked laughing.
I giggled. "Yeah, but they do deserve it! Were all so innocent, trapped inside this world where killing people is okay to the human eyes...we didn't do anything to have this happen to us!" I said and Rick's eyes flashed.
"Are we? Innocent I mean..." He pulled a book off a shelf, and opened it...then handed it to me and pointed to a specific picture. "That man right there...Sam Wright...he was a friend of mine for many, many years! He killed ten people with his bare hands, ended up here, died in the first week!" Rick flipped the page and pointed to a girl. "Alyssa Coolman. She was a friend of the family's ever since I can remember...she was charged of theft...she died her second year here!" Rick flipped to another page and Zo snapped it from us.
"That's enough!" She snapped and threw the book on the shelf. "We dont need to scare them to death, literally, on there first couple years here!" Zo then gave Rick a meaningful look, turned her back on us, and walked back towards Jake who was being worked on by Derek.
"So..." I said, following Rick to the other side of the room. "What do you do for fun around here?"
"Are you kidding?" He asked. "There's nothing fun to do!"
"I'm just trying to make small talk, I didn't want it to-" I said stepping in front of him.
"You're just trying to convince me your Bounty!" Rick said, and I flinched.
"You still don't beleive us?" I asked.
"No! I dont! I beleive my girlfriend beleives you...but I personally don't beleive you! So be careful...cause I'm watching!" Rick pushed past me, and walked into another room that seemed to appear out of no where, like something floating slowly to the top of the water's surface.
I watched as Rick slammed the door shut, and I flinched as he did so, and then I sighed and walked back to see what's new with Jake and the others.

"How is he?" I asked and Zo looked up to see just me and sighed.
"What happened?" She asked, still working on Jake.
"I was trying to talk to him...he got mad, and he stormed off into another room..." I explained and she smiled.
"That's Rick for ya'!" She added.
"Is he always like this?" Derek asked.
"No...not always...only when we talk about the people in that book, or when we come across other people like you! He caves, lets me fix them up, and then he spits them back out once there healed and when I'm sleeping! He doesn't know I know, but I do know! And then he lies on top of it, telling me they left cause they had to or something around that area!" Zo ripped apart a peice of cloth from the box that was once on the shelf, but now by her and Derek.
"You do beleive right?" I asked and she looked at me, momentarily confused. "Us being Bounty."
"Yeah...I do! Rick may seem he doesn't, just for kicks, but he does. Or at least I think he does! If not, its cause he can feel 'something' weird about you guys." She nodded as if telling me 'It's okay...He'll come around, and we'll survive this!'
"I'm Hayley, that's Derek, and your patient here is Jake." I said, a tear to two spilling down my eyes. "Will he be okay?"
"Oh yeah, just two mortal wounds...now if it was a bullet, that'd be a different story!" She repatched Jake up, and patted each wound as if motioning there safe and secure. "Just give him some resting time, and in the morning he should be up and running!" She put the left over materials in the box, closed it up, and placed it back on the shelf where she got it. "Food's in an hour." She informed, then walked towards Rick's room to calm him down.
Derek walked over to me, and looked into my eyes. "Everything will be okay Hayley...he'll be fine, I'll be fine...we'll all be fine!"
"But what if we won't?" I asked, tears of fear spilling now. "What if we are caught and never see the real world again?" I asked.
"Shh...shh..." He pulled me into a hug, and gripped me tight. "Everything will work out...and if not, we'll find a way through the storm.
"I hope so!" I said and we just stood there. He gripped me in his arms, and I just let him. Feeling defensless and vaulnerable right now, I just let my weak side show itself for once. And so did Derek. "I sure hope so!"

I terminate the call, and scream at the top of my lungs. It takes Carlisle and Rosalie thirty two seconds to reach me. The other Cullens are out hunting.
I find I can only speak in short bursts, so I focus only on Carlisle's voice, asking me what happened. I try to answer, but then, oh joy, more pain.

I've been in labour for the past eight hours now. Imagine, just for a moment, that Rosalie is capable of PMS. And that simultaneously, someone's hidden her hair products, her iPod, her BMW, and her laptop. I was currently in a mood that would make that look like a kitten having a tantrum.
I broke Jacob's wrist by accident.
I terminate the call, and scream at the top of my lungs. It takes Carlisle and Rosalie thirty two seconds to reach me. The other Cullens are out hunting.

Alice looked as if she were faint or something.
"Nothing is of the matter, I mean...nothing is...well
nothing is wrong okay?"
I really can't trust her sometimes, so I went to Edward.
"Edward, what is Alice thinking?"
"Why would I want to help you?! You tortured me once already!"
"Please! Just tell me what she is thinking!"
"I don't think I should tell them or should I? If someone is controllong Esme, where is this person-"
"Someone is controlling ESME!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Edward shouted.
Then, everyone looked at Alice, Edward, and Esme's purple marking.
Jasper's Pov
"What's wrong Alice?"

I did feel sad that, I never got to marry you. That's whay I didn't come to your
party. Then, Esme came. Something really strange happened. She turned
purple and then, she was in a cloak. Then, she put me under a spell to follow'
whatever she says. I tried to stop her, but it was too late. She told me that
I would regret asking you out for the rest of my-"
"MOMMY!!!!!" Renesmee shouted.
"It's always my ple-MOM!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
"We have to get her to Carisle. I will explain what I told Bella," Jasper said calmly.

"It's okay guys. He's back to normal," I said.
Edward replied sharply, "Well how can we prove it!?"
"I will show you."
Then, Jasper hugged Edward.
"ESME!!!!!!!" As I ran over towards her.
"Uh...where am I?" Esme said wearily.
"Bella?"
"Jasper?"
"Hey Bella, I um...am sorry for causing you all this trouble. I didn't mean to.
I did feel sad that, I never got to marry you. That's whay I didn't come to your
party. Then, Esme came. Something really strange happened. She turned

Do I have to marry Jasper to get my family out?
ARE THEY OKAY?!
