Sorry this one is so late. Between studying for exams and being sick, I haven't had much time to write. Once exams are over I'll get a lot more writing done. Enjoy!!
Over to the side is Esme's family's car.

My mother and I finished collecting the eggs and made our way back to the house. She would most likely expect me to tell my father at dinner time so I wouldn‘t disappoint her. My mother and I made soup and bread for dinner. We sat down to eat and said our prayers. At first, we ate our dinner in silence but then I decided it was time to tell father. “Poppa?” I said to him.
“Yes? What is it Esme?” he asked.
“I have decided what I wanted to do with my future.”
“Really?” he was ecstatic “What’s that?”
“I would like to move to the West and become a school teacher. I just adore children.” I answered him.
His face went red. shoot I thought to myself.
“What?!” He roared “No way! It’s way to dangerous to be living in the West unmarried. You’ll have no protection! No, your staying here where your safe!”
“Father, I’ll be fine!” I soothed trying to calm him down.
“No!” And his words rang with finality I dare not argue with.
I sighed in defeat. “Alright father. As you wish.”
He nodded one sharp nod. “Move to the west…” he muttered under his breath that I just barely heard him. “No protection…”
The rest of supper was eaten in complete silence all of us to lost in our thoughts to say anything. I was thinking of my father’s reaction. Surely he couldn’t think I was that incapable of taking care of myself. And then I knew one person who I wished would take care of me. Dr. Carlisle Cullen. I couldn’t get him off my mind. He was in every thought I had. So mysterious. Gorgeous, god-like, glorious…and he would never be mine. If only I was mysterious like him. Maybe he would want me then. I wondered who he was involved with. Someone like him probably had a beautiful, pale-faced wife at home who was just as glorious as he was. Jealousy started leaking into my thoughts. What a lucky, lucky woman!
My mothers voice was the one to interrupt my thoughts.
“Esme, please do the dishes.”
“Yes mother” I picked up the dishes we had used and started filling the sink with hot water. I scraped the leftovers into the garbage and started washing. My father came to stand beside me about five minutes later and dried and put away the dishes. It looked like something was on his mind but I’d let him tell me in his own time. A few minutes later he decided to share his thoughts.
“Esme, do you remember John Evenson?” he asked me. Of course I did. He was a very close friend of my father. They had been friends for…I didn’t remember how long it’d been.
“Yes, of course father”
“And, do you remember his son Charles?”
“Yes…” I wasn’t quite sure where he was leading with this. I had met Charles a many times. He seemed like a nice man. I didn’t know him to well though.
“Well,” my father hesitated “John informed me that Charles would like to marry you.” We were both silent.
“He…wants to…marry me?” I finally asked. What was so interesting about me? I wasn’t particularly beautiful, I took after my mother a lot in my looks and it wasn’t that I wasn’t pretty, I just never expected this.
“Yes. John talked to me this morning on the telephone and informed me of his sons request. Charles is a very intelligent man. Very successful.”
“Sure. Father, I don’t know about that. I don’t really know Charles all too well. I mean, he seems like a very nice man but when ever we see each other, we never really talk.”
“Esme, I suggest you accept the offer. I don’t doubt you’ll get others but this is probably the best offer you’ll get”
By his tone I could tell he was frustrated with me so I decided to keep the peace. “I’ll consider it, alright father?”
“Alright,” he seemed satisfied for now “I’d like a response in a few days though.”
That night when I went to bed, my fathers words kept running through my mind. Charles wanted to marry me! I couldn’t get over the shock of that. What had I done to want him to request me for marriage? Charles seemed like a very nice man. I’d met others better but he wasn’t so bad. Then one face popped into my mind that was better. Carlisle. I needed to get over him. I would probably never see him again in my life and the impact he had had on me was certainly not healthy. By marrying Charles that was proof I was trying. Trying to get over this mysterious doctor.
There was a quiet knock on my door. “Come in” I called
“hello sweetheart” My mother said softly while entering my room. “I heard about the offer from Charles.”

Up with your turret
Aren’t we just terrified
Shale, screen your worry
From what you won’t ever find
Don’t let it fool you
Don’t let it fool you, down
Down’s sitting round
Folds in the gown
Sea and the rock below
Cocked to the undertow
Bones, blood and teeth erode
With every crashing node
Wings wouldn’t help you
Wings wouldn’t help you, down
Death is around
Prayer in your smile
You barely are blinking
Wagging your face around
When’d this just become
A mortal home
Ahhhh
Won’t, won’t, won’t, won’t
Won’t let you talk me
Won’t let you talk me, down
Will pull it taut
Nothing now
Aren’t we just terrified
Shale, screen your worry
From what you won’t ever find
Don’t let it fool you
Don’t let it fool you, down
Down’s sitting round
Folds in the gown
Sea and the rock below

Won’t, won’t, won’t, won’t
Won’t let you talk me
Won’t let you talk me, down
Will pull it taut
Nothing now
When these pillars get put down
It will be you who wears the crown
And I’ll owe everything to you
Oooohh
Oooohh
How much pain has cracked your soul
And how much love would make you whole
You’re my guiding lightning strike
I can’t find the words to say
They’re overdue
I’ve traveled half the world to say
I belong to you
Oooohh
Oooohh
And she attacks me like a Leo
When my heart is split like Rio
And I assure you my debts are real
I can’t find the words to say
When I’m confused
I traveled half the world to say
You are my muse
Oooohh
Oooohh
Oooohh
I can’t find the words to say
They’re overdue
I’ve traveled half the world to say
I belong to you
Oooohh
Oooohh
It will be you who wears the crown

Fans tried to save the school but in the end they couldn't get enough cash together.
A popular Twilight landmark has been demolished after a fan fundraiser to save the site failed to reach its target amount. They needed $287,000 to preserve the facade of Forks High School in Forks, Washington raised just a few thousand dollars.
The school, where Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson filmed scenes for the hit vampire movies, is one of a handful of locations in the sleepy town visited by devotees of the franchise to be destroyed.
The facade was bulldozed earlier this month as bosses make way to build a new school. So if you want to see it, see it now!
