Hello Lovelies!! So, I have yet ANOTHER excuse for my SUPER lateness. I started two college classes to get them out of the year before graduation in May. Shout out to the class of 2013!!
Anyway, without further ado.

When I woke up the smell of strawberries and vainalla filled mly nose. I smiled to myself and opened my eyes to see Bella still sleeping soudlessly. Some time after watching the edge of the sun peak over the hill Bella and I desided to call it quits and crash. And crash we did. We laid on her bed to just talking before we fell asleep. Guess we didn't get that far.
I rolled over, careful not to wake Bella, to grab my phone. 11:25 am. I sat my phone back down and rubbed my hands over my eyes, then through my hair. I felt Bella stir next to me and looked over to meet her eyes.
"Hi." I smiled.
"Hey." She giggled. "So, guess you never made it to your bed?"
"Nope." I smirked.
"S'okay." She yawned and sat up. "What time is it?"
"I check it a few minutes ago. So, it's proabably 11:30."
"Cool. We'll my stomach is tryin to eat itself so I'm going to make me somethin simple and light then I will start on somethin big for all of us." She stood up and strechted her arms over her head make her shirt ride up a little.
"What are you makin for yourself?"
"Um, probably a peanut and banana sandwich. You want one?"
"God, yes." I groaned and followed her into the little kitchen, sitting at the table while she fixed our sandwhiches. "So, when do you start back school?"
"September, so about three months."
"I never asked this and I don't know why it slipped my mind, but what are you going to school for?"
She sat our plates down with two tall glasses of milk and sat across from me.
"I'm going to get my nursing degree. I want to work in the Neonatal Intinsive Care Unit, and eventually, after I'm married and my kids are grown, I want to go to St. Jude."
"Wow." Oh, good answer Edward. "What made you want to do all that?" Much better.
"Um, well, it's a long story." She warned me/
"We got time." I gestured to the sleeping others and she sighed. "Well, when I was always an active kid and baby. Always running around and getting into stuff." I laughed to myself. "I was a hand full to say the least. When I was about nine, I started getting really tired, hand headaches all the time. I hardly ate anything. Renee was really worried so she took me to the doctor who sent us to the children's hospital. They told us I had stage 1 leukemia."
What? She had childhood cancer??
"Childhood Leukemia is fairly easy to treat if caught early enough on. So I only had about six months of treatment. Although I did lose my hair."
Bella lost all that beautifull dark hair? My God.
"So I know what it feels like to be sick and confused. The nurses' jobs aren't to make them better, it's to make them as comfortable as possible until they get better."
I was stunned. Why any child should go through an illness of any sort was beyond me. Much less a girl like the one infront of me. I shook my head. "I'm so sorry. I know you probably don't want pity, and I'm not gving you any, I just think no kid should go through any of the sort. I'm sorry you were one of them."
"It's not your fault, and I beat it." She smiled. "I'm okay now."
