I felt uncomfortable as I rode by on my Suzuki GSX 1300 R Hayabusa 2008 because I heard whispers from the guys start up and I got stared at by many people in the parking lot, basically all except for five people who only glanced in my direction once then went back to talking amoungst them selves. I could tell that they knew what I was immedtiately.
I had blocked my mind from the mind-reader, that was infact a student here, because I like my mind to be as private as possible. I could tell that they all asked him the same question in their own minds, "What is she thinking". All he did was shake his head and answer their question with a simple I don't know.
I was pleased that I had picked up this trick many years ago when I first met Aro.
When the bell finally rang I tried to hurry off to class after I got all of my things into my hand-made messenger bag. I couldn't fit all of my books into my bag so I had to carry the rest.
As I ran for my next class I ran straight into the biggest vampire out of the five that were standing next to the blonde's BMW M3.
"Watch where you're goin' the next time you decide to walk backwards," I said under my breath knowing that he would hear me.
"Why you watch where you're running," retorted the big one of the two vampires that were walking to their next class.
"I needed to get to my next class befor I was late."
"You're already late anyways so why don't you walk with us, since we have the next class together anyways, besides the fact that you were headin' the wrong way."
"Is that you Jasper," I asked as I looked up to see a familiar face to my surprise.
"Yes that is my name. How do you know me?"
"I saw into you when my coven and your Maria's coven fought. You and I even fought each other one-on-one a couple times," I reminded him.
"Who won the fights between you two," asked the big guy.
"Emmett, if we're both here in front of you who do you think won," answered Jasper befor I could reply with the same answer basically.
"Oh, sorry, didn't relize that the subject was that touchy."
"So Emmett's your name."
"Yep," replied Emmett all to happy that I finally learned his name.
"So Jasper, tell me what your mind-reader's name is and is he safe to show my mind to."
"I figured you would've figured out his name by now, considering what your special talent is."

"Fine, his name is Edward and yes he is safe for your mind to be opened to."

"Can we get to class now you two, or are we just going to stand here talking?"

"I know. By the way I don't roll with Maria anymore."
"I could tell that by you being up here in Washington. Maria would never bother to come to such a small town. So, I'm guessing you're a veggetarian now?"

"Your eyes have changed colors from that bright red to a soft golden color."
"Class now, hurry now," Emmett said impatiently.
"I feel like skippin' class today," I said thoughtfully.
"That's not very good considering it is your first day here."

"All I'm sayin' is that you don't need a reputation this early in your first school year here."
"Hey this is also my last school year. I don't give a care about gettin' a rep around here whether early or late in the year for me. The sooner I'm outta school, the better for me."
