Ch 5 : Who Am I?

I remember waking up. The first thought that popped into my mind, I said aloud. "Who Am I?" I asked. "Bella, what did you just say?" asked a man. He had a mustache and dark black hair. He was wearing a police outfit, so, he must've been a police officer, unless it was Halloween. Was it? Yay, I remembered what Halloween was.

"Well, officer, I asked 'Who Am I?"

"Officer? Did you just call me officer?" the Police Officer said

"Um...Yes Officer. Um..Did I do anything wrong, Officer?" I was wondering why this man was interrogating me.

"Bella, honey. It's your father, Charlie. And your name is Bella Swan." answered Charlie aka my Dad.

"Okay, if you say so." Whoa, when did I ever disrespect someone like that. "Sorry." I murmured. "Don't be." He said.

A nurse passed by and my father called her. "Excuse me, Ma'am. But, can you bring a doctor in here?" he asked. "Sure thing." the nurse replied. She seemed like a nice lady.

Then, a man appeared. He had brown hair, buzz cut. "Um...Police Chief Swan. My name is Dr. Overra. I'm taking in for Dr.Cullen." When he said the word 'Cullen' my heart stared to hurt, like, really, really bad. I wondered why.

"Okay, yes, Dr.Overra, my daughter, Bella Swan, she doesn't remember who she nor I am. I think she has amnesia. Could you please check her?" Wow, I hadn't realized it but my father was the Police Chief of whatever town we were in.

After a series of questions and examinations, I learned I have amnesia. I can't remember a thing about me. My dad, Charlie, was telling my about my mom, my friend Jacob Black. Our town, and my school. I felt like he was leaving something out. I was about to ask him who Dr.Cullen was when he pulled up into our house.

"And here is where we live." Charlie said. I got out of the car. A car had just parked beside me and my father. Someone jumped out. Immediately I thought "Jacob!"

"Oh, Bella, you remember me!" He cried. Then wrapped me into a big bear hug!

"Jake, can't breath." I remembered him but just one look of the face, and Charlie's (I was begining to like calling him that more than dad or father) descriptions. But who's telling Jacob, right?

"Oh yeah, sorry." Jake simply replied. I thought Jake looked, kind of, cute. I guess. But something in my heart said "No. No." So, I just kept my trap shut!

But, soon, I would get to the bottom of this Cullen (ow) mystery.


A/N: Like the twist? I thought I'd throw in some kind of thing to mess with everything. What do you think should happen next? Should Jake take advantage of Bella not knowing what happened between her and Edward? Should someone explain to Bella that Edward was her boyfriend, they were inseparable, then he left (at the point being, no one still knows how Edward left Bella), bringing her back into her zombie stage? Or, will she, all together, forget about the Cullen's? You tell me, or just wait and see!
