Ch 2

Bella's POV

I woke up in the living room. The tv was, of course, on. ESPN had on baseball game. Red Socks vs Yankees. But, as soon as my eyes opened, Charlie noticed. He was watching me, not the game.

"Bella! Are you okay? You just passed out. Everybody left." Charlie said, worried.

"I'm fine, what time is it?" I asked

"5:30."

"AM or PM?" I asked, very, very curious.

"Ummm............PM."

'Why did I sleep so long?' I asked myself. "What happened after I passed out?" I asked.

"Well, Jake caught you and thought it would be best to bring you in the house. Then everyone left." Charlie anwsered.

"Okay, well.....I'm fine, okay? I'm gonna go to my room now." I said

"Okay, but before you go, what exactly happened?" Charlie asked

"What do you mean?" I asked, playing stupid, right, when was the last time that worked again??

"What happened between you and....Edward?" Charlie said. He seemed a little angry. But, at the sound of his name my heart just exploded! A big, no huge whole ripped in my heart. I fell back against the couch, holding my heart.

"Bella? Bella! Are you okay? What's the matter?" Charlie's voice filled with panic. "Nothing," I whispered. "Are you sure?" Charlie rushed over to me. "Yes." I simply replied.

"Anyway, what happened between you and Edward?" Charlie asked. Tears were building in my eyes, my heart hurt, and truly, I was still tired. "We'll talk about it later, okay? I'm tired." I said, already running to the stairs. "Okay, call me if you need me, okay?" Charlie sighed.

When I got to my room I jumped on my bed, crawled under the covers, and let the misery take me. I was crying so hard, I could barly breathe. I tried getting the covers off my head. Note to self: Before you tangle up in covers, try to remeber to breathe and.....not black out.

Then, of course, everything went black, AGAIN!
