Bella becomes a vampire at the fourth book "Breaking Dawn".
She does not get officially bitten, but Edward gives her an injection with his venom right to her heart. That way the becoming-a-vampire proccess begins.
Just for the record, Edward doesnt bite her cause there is no time, since Bella is about to die...
I wont say more, cause i dont want to ruin it completely! =)

oh right...people think they want to know, but -yea that sounds about right- we , the others who didnt want to know, we know what the secretly dont want to find out ,even though they ASKED!!
Okay, okay. I know how annoying it is when people tell you to read on, but if you have a twilight obsession like myself, it is furstrating. So you wanted to know therefore I will tell you. Bella becomes a Vampire in the 4th book. She gets pregnat and gives birth to a baby daughter ect...However the baby is half vampire, half human. Bella is mortal still, so she does not have the full strength for this child, so in the end, the baby is slowly killing her. So Edward has no other choise but to change her! She does became Vampire and by Edward.

Bella gets "bitten" in Twilight by James but Edward sucks out the vemon and saves her. She is changed into a vampire in Breaking Dawn when Edward 'injects' her with vemon right after she gives birth to Nessie.

Fine I'll tell you who bites her. Bella is having a daughter in what I think is Breaking Dawn she's gonna have her daughter with Edward they are getting married! I'm glad she kept Edward and not Jacob!
