after twilight i looked up as many young adult/adult vamp books i could find and also asked peps opnion if its worth the read or not. twilight got me to read!
When I read Twilight I was like wow amazing. And I've read the morganville vampire series and the house of night series and they were very interesting but not quite as good as Twilight. But then I read the Vampire Academy series and OMG AMAZING! I was skeptical about it at first because the cover and synopsis don't give it justice at all. But the series is very very good. Your missing out if you havent read it. It involves romance and action.

Yeah, u should try Vampire Academy---Great series!! Morganmayhem12 is right...ur missing out if u haven't read these books.

'The Host' by Stephenie Meyer and 'The Mortal Instruments' by Cassandra Clare are incredible books as well, but there are no vampires in 'The Host' and in 'The Mortal Instruments', the focus in not mainly on vampires. I do, however, highly recommend them. (:

The Evernight Trilogy by Claudia Gray. The first two books are Evernight and Stargazer, and the third one, Hourglass, is coming out this month.
Red-hot passionate love scenes, lots of action and adventure, and I would venture to say that Claudia Gray is a better storyteller than SMeyer.
The basic story is that Bianca, a half-vampire/half-human girl just like Nessie, falls in love with none other than a vampire hunter! There's also a love triangle in a Hogwarts-like academy for vampires.
