Anyway, even as Jacob as a wolf (Edward fan) I hate to admit it but they would have dated if Edward had stayed away or just plain, never went to Italy and they would have lasted because Renesmee is Jake's soulmate so she would have never of been born so nothing would have pulled jacob away from bella in that sense (werewolf duty is another thing).
