And. For those who use Edward's absense as an excuse, don't bother. It's an invalid aid in this argument because Jacob left Bella too. Edward left to protect her from himself. Jacob left to protect her from himself as well. It's one for one. They both left her for her safety.

There are plenty more proving that Edward is more dedicated to Bella. He literally will do anything for her, when Jacob won't. I'm not saying Jacob won't do many things for her, because he will, but Edward will do way more for her than Jacob will ever do.

If you have read it, then you should know why did Edward do what he did. Because he LOVED her SO MUCH and didn't want to hurt her anymore... he left, even thought it was were hard for him to do that.
