Can the wolves imprinty die? If so what happens when they die?

dont the wolves like give up being a wolf when they want to and grow old and dye... so if their love died theyd probably want to dye too.

am not really sure cause she didn't mention it but i think that the imprinty can die cause the werewolves can't change people like vampires,so that means that means they would have to live the rest of their lives in sorrow until they give up their werewolf form and stay human until they die!!

I think, if a wolf's imprintee (not Nessie) died, the werewolf would stop phasing so he or she can become mortal and wait to die and be with their loved ones. That's my guess, plus that's actually a really good question.
