Twilight Series Question

In the book does Bella get bit on the hand, or wrist?

I thought it was the hand... cause that's what i remember reading and also cause it would make more sense when Jacob notices that the scar is cold.. cause pretty sure he holds hands with her and notices it. But yeah in the movie he doesn't notice it.

in the film, she is bitten on the wrist
however...

in the book she is bitten on the hand. Here is one quote which confirms:
"my fingers traced the crescent shaped scar on my hand that was always just a few degrees cooler than the rest of my skin" this is a quote by bella and it is in new moon

The quote from the book on Pg. 454 says: "The sharp pains were fading. There was a new scalding pain in my hand that was overshadowing everything else," so I'd say hand......
