Twilight Series Question

Is it true they are making 'New moon' and 'Eclipse" at the same time?

I heard that new moon and eclipse are beeing made at the same time and the release dates are nov 2009 and april 2010. can anyone confirm thins and please put the website of place of reference where you found out....

no. it was said that they were going to be filmed at the same time, but then it was officially stated by Summit and Chris Weitz that they will not. Chris Weitz will be in post-production with New Moon. However, David Slade is going to take on directing Eclipse. Between New Moon filming and Eclipse filming, it's been said the cast will have 2 months off, then it's back to work.

I guess they will put a couple of months in between, coz some of the cast members have other movies to do too.

Well, you probably already know the answer by now. But no, they were not being filmed at the same time. Once they finished filming New Moon (totally), they took about a month's break then began filming for Eclipse in Vancouver.

yes they are filming both at the same time but are not releasing them together they had to to make sure the vamps. dont age in real life and look too old in the movie i dont know what website it says this but it was on E! and when new moon came out if you have direct t.v. they had a special on that talked about it

No they didnt flim them at the same time...they filmed New Moon first and then in the summer of 2009..they began filiming Eclispe. The films had different directors and it was after the filming of New Moon that they fired the original Victoria and hired a new actress to play her. :)
