Twilight: The time of day where the sun is going down and the moon is just coming up...well as this is from bellas point of view, edward is jsut coming into her life just as ,at twilight, the moon is just coming up.
New Moon- a new moon is when there is no moon in the sky at all. As SM says, it reflects the darkest part of bella life, but again edward, like the moon, is gone in this book (ie edward is the moon)
Eclipse: An eclipse is when the moon and the sun are infront of each other- edward is the moon and jacob the sun and in this book the are 'battling' for bella- jacob and edward (just like the sun and the moon) clash.
Breaking Dawn: When dawn breaks, it is a new day and bella has lots of new things happen in this book: her married life with edward, her becoming a vampire and having a baby girl.
