This question is for fans who read Twilight when it wasn't hyped up, between 2005 and 2007:

honesty, I PICKED THE BOOK UP RANDOMLY AND READ THE SUMMARY AFTER THAT I WAS HOOKED. I TOLD MY FRIENDS TO READ IT AND THEY SAID IT WAS TOO LONG FOR THEM. LOL

I believe me and my best friend had to find the best book in the store and something drew me to this book. My friend was walking around the store looking at every cover and i walked straight to the book. i picked up and said " I WIN" she looked and me and we both bought it and i did win. It's cover is simple and its obsessive we sleep outside the bookstore when the nest installment came round :) i was literally pulled by gravity to this book

i saw it in borders. and i was also obsessed with Buffy, and Angel <3 I still like it, but Twilight is my life now. lol

I think it was in Walmart when I saw it. I looked at the hands holding the apple and it made me curious. Exactly, simple. So I picked it up and read the back. I needed to know who this Edward guy was and then I saw he was a vampire and I had to have it... Immediately! I love vampires. I swear, I watched almost every vampire movie out there. (I also was a big fan of Buffy the Vampire slayer, only I didnt like her killing them!) I wanted to know about it, so I bought it. I fell in love with the book. Stephanie Meyer is amazing! Well anyways, after it started getting big, I was like, Wow I think I was one of the first people to pick up a copy of this book... Amazing! It was a pretty cool feeling.

hmm well i found it in borders a while back,
eclpise had just come out two days before.
i found twilight, read the back and bought it right away. the cover also had me sold.

i had no idea they would ever EVER make it into a movie or even get this huge.

its really hard 2 find books i like so i was in the book store and walked past it and me being me bought it wit out any Kowlage on it

The book was first published in Spanish in 2007, so one day I was looking on the internet and in a blog a saw a picture of a really cute guy and it said "edward cullen" so I google him (LOL) and I found out about the twilight story, I read the book immediately, but no one had read it here so I had no one to talk about it until I joined fanpop... so that's my story :D

my aunt. At the time we were living with them and kept talking about it. i got interested . she said she would lend me the books .(but some reason she never did)so one day i said hey you think the library would have it?then she lent them to me. i read the first three books in one week!

the cover and then i read the back and it sounded good so i read it and loved it!
