Twilight Series Question

Ok I suck at learning the info. :D How come Rosalie and Japser are Hale,but the others are Cullen?

Ok so Alice,Edward,Esme and the others are Cullen,but only Rosalie and Jasper are Hale. I don't get it. I mean Jasper is with Alice and Rosalie is with Emmet.. WTF :D

The family where they both "grew up" are the cullens but they wanted to keep their "parents " last name. Not that weird of you think about a real case of adoption (even though i don't know if its actually legal xD).. But it's even more understandable considering that Alice is with Jasper and Emmet with Rosalie.. I dont know if you could marry your legal brother.. even if they arent blood brothers.. Its would be more weird if they shared house, relationship AND last name. That's what I think
