Twilight Series Question

I want to beter understand something. If bella wanted her baby so badly, since she wasn't all that thirsty, why didnt she just fight her way down to the baby, I mean since she was way stronger.

because it wouldve been completely unecessary for her to fight just to see her baby. Anyways, she needed to satisfy her thirst before she saw Nessie, because "supposedly" new borns weren't very controllable. But it turns out Bella has super duper controlling powers.

yes she was stronger but i think she would never willingly attack any of them, especially edward.. though she was not thirsty, she did not want to take any chance.she wanted to be sure that she was no danger to her daughter. she was waiting for that moment where she would just snap and be like any newborn should normally be,like everyone especially jasper espected her to behave like.. so yeah thats probably the reason why she did not resist and fight them to see her baby.
