She canot be affected by any other vampires powers she is imund

she can protect. she has like a protective "sheild" or bubble against other vampires. EVEN BETTER! its very hard...but when she pushes her shield off herself edward can finally read her thoughts!

she has a shield that can block other vampires powers, as why edward couldnt read her mind, kind of hinting it. She can also stretch the shield, but only so far, so she can protect others.

she has super self control and she can shield her mind and anothers from other vamps powers like janes!

if we r talking about b4 shes a vampire then she cant be affected by any vampires powers. But even as a vampire its the same shes a force field!

She acts like a shield for herself. This means Edward can not read her mind, Jane can not hurt her mentally. However, it is only a shield for the mind. Anything related to body, such as Alice seeing the future and Jasper effecting the emotions around him she can not block. :)

Bella power is a shield. That's why Edward can't read her mind.
