Well, I may be wrong but this is what I thought...He knew there was something different about them but he didn't know detail. He said to only tell him what he HAD to know, so they only told him the basics really. This was in Breaking Dawn when Bella changed and Jacob went and told Charlie. I think he may of got an idea but he was never told directly.

I know that in Breaking Dawn Jacob tells Charlie that he's a werewolf, I wasn't really paying much attention to the book lol

Haha oh right :L But when Jacob tells Charlie about himself well shows him, he says about Bella...he says that she's not like she used to be and she's more like Esme now instead of Renee...but he doesn't give him spesifics only what he needs to know.

Yeah, that's true! Whenever I read BD again I just read the third part in Bella's perspective. :)
