Twilight Series Question

Who would rather Bella and EDward together then Yourself with Edward???

I hate when my friends say they hate bella and would do anything even kill her to be with Edward. I think it is irrational I would rather Bella with Edward rather than myself. This is just my opinion but what do you think???
