Well, when Alice came back, or any of the cullens for that matter, the wolf pack cannot cross the boundary. So, since Alice came back to see Bella and check on her, Jacob couldn't be caught fighting on the cullen's side of the line. Since Victoria was on the loose, Jacob meant by "screw the treaty" that he would protect Charlie even if the Cullen's were back. He wanted to keep him safe.

I think it's because where Bella lives it's part of the vampire territory and La Push is Werewolves land.

but do you think when edward sees that bella is not dead you think he won't come back.the only reson that he's wants to be dead is so that he can be with bella cuz he thinks she's dead.
