Twilight Series Question

What part of the Twilight series do you dislike the most.

And please, please don't say that you don't hate anything.

I dislike the parts where Edward is doing what he thinks is best for Bella, which invariably means ignoring her opinions and treating her like she's a woman from over two hundered years ago, and her opinions don't matter.

What are you even doing here? Every single thing you've said lately has been negative. If you don't like twilight anymore, please just stay away.

Well the ending really annoyed me - where all the vampires turn up and get psyched for a massive battle and then Nahuel turns up and everyone just goes home - so that was a real anti-climax - and I really don't like Edward or Jacob's attitudes - Edward seems so clingy and Jacob's far too childish - but in some weird way I still really like the series lol

I agree that some parts of the series can be really good, but the ending of Breaking Dawn was a huge let down. And I think Jacob acts childish because he is only 16, though he does seem older sometimes.

The only things I really dislike are the changes they made to Edward's character for the movie.
I really really dislike how they completely reversed Edward's ideals on virtue. They made it so that Edward only cared about Bella's virginity, and not about his own. They made it seem like Edward was trying to keep Bella a proper virgin bride, when really, he wanted to wait for marriage because of his own personal morals.

As for the books, I wouldn't like the series if there was something major i didn't like about them. I can't even think about anything minor right now.

(You're probably going to tell me this doesn't count, but I do not care. This is what I dislike)

I would never tell anyone that their opinion doesn't matter. Just because we had a disagreement on my other question doesn't mean I'm going to be rude to you or your opinions. And as it is, I agree with you. I don't like that they changed some of the characters for the movie either. As fog your comment above, I have posted three of my views that just happen to be be negative because I wanted to know what other people's opinions were, not because I loathe all aspects ov twilight.

I hate the part of new moon when Edward left Bella and she started hanging out with Jacob, because I don't really like Jacob's character and I love Edward.
As for the movie I hate how sometimes they showed Bella without any expression of happiness or love for Edward or even when she was sad , I love Bella in the book much more. I know some people won't agree with me but sometimes I wonder how Stephenie Meyer was OK with all these changes on the characters??

Basically ... new moon. i mean, come on! the cullens made the story interesting and s.m. just took them out just like that?! come on, s.m.! plus, you know, edward was the BEST part of the series ... well, besides all of the fights and the hot-ass vampires.....
okay. off topic. anyway, the whole bella-being-soooo-lost-without-edward thing is kinda demeaning, too. i know women like bella (except i kinda like them) and her responce to edward's leaving kinda pisses me off. just a bit.

but we meet jane in this book so .... it (almost) equals out

The way fights are avoided in every book, particularly the fight at the end of Breaking Dawn. I know Stephenie Meyer has admitted she lacks confidence in writing these and that's why she works around them, but aren't authors meant to practice what they're weak at? Or don't bother writing the threat of a fight if one's never going to occur. The Breaking Dawn fight omission annoyed me particularly, because gathering all the witnesses and revealing the Volturi's corruption really hyped it up.
