Why Do You Like Twilight?

That`s a good question. I`ve always wanted somebody to actually question me this,so that i can tell `im that i don`t like it only because of Robward.
So,i bought Twilight (the first book i mean) just
because i was really curious to see what was that about. And why did the people talk about it so much and why were they so obsessed. I have to say that form the very first chapter i loved that book. I may sound like the typical fan now,but that`s the truth.
The story was really fascinating and there was no way i could hate that book. I could relate to Bella (like everybody else) i could see her point,i could fell in love with Edward just like her and i could feel every emotion that she felt. I don`t know if Twilight was the best book but i know that it made me think about it 24/7. It could be because of the characters,it could be because of something else,but i did. And eventually i was happy that i didn`t pass the opportunity to read it.
For the movie i can say only that i didn`t like it. But i guess it`s always like this-if you read a book,there is no way to like the movie based on its story. But still,they could`ve done it better. But fortunately the cast was great. The people who portrayed the characters were the right one and i have no complains about that.
Edit : And it`s shame on us,to actually be ashamed to call ourselves fans of the saga.Because,yes,the whole thing is pretty commercial right now but we have good reasons to love the story and the characters and the actors. And it`s stupid when someone who doesn`t even know what Twilight is about to treat you like a crazy ,obsessed fan,or the type of fan,that have just watched the movie and thinks that Rob is the sexiest man alive,only because of what he saw on the movie. Without watching any interview,or something to get to know him a little bit. Because the pleasing appearance is not enough.
So,yeah I AM a twilight fan and i like it. And the normal fans,who are not too obsessed and not too ignorant of the whole situation should not be ashamed to call themselves fans!

I, like you, am not a hater nor a huge, huge fan. I have a lot things that I dislike about Twilight, but of course there are some things I actually quite enjoy :)

I love some of the characters; Bella because her personality and life is actually similar to mine, Rosalie because she's terrifying but very beautiful, Renesmee because she's adorable and (in a way) we're both hybrids (I'm half-black, half-white), and Carlisle because he's very sweet, loving, and genuine.
I also love vampires to no end, so there's another definite reason! Lol.
I like the fact that the vampires are unique. There were some traits that I was not very thrilled over, but it was pretty interesting to see an author come up with her own vampires and have millions of people relish the unique idea.
I actually really liked the movie :)

And that's pretty much it. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Twilight. Lol! I just like it ^_^

I agree with you both.... Twilight is getting to much fans, and some of them only because of the guys....
For those who like the book (and I mean the book, because the movie other then the guys wasn't that good); they like it because of the variety of characters, because of the danger and most of all because of the romance... Because of a love that last after death and that faces death a lot of times! In my opinion Twilight can't be compared to such master pieces as "Romeo and Juliet", but it's a fiction book with a powerful love... Where both of the main characters would die for each other (and one actually does:P)!
In Twilight you can see different perspectives of being the same thing, for the nomads drinking human blood is nothing unusual; for the Cullens it's horrific only to think about it (and even in the Cullens there's Jasper that although he's trying to feed of animals is much harder considering his past!).
Twilight is a great book but the fans that the movie brought are only there because of the guys... Most of them only saw the movie and didn't even read the book! It's a shame, but it's the movie industry!

i am so obsessed witht the books & movie/s & i dont know why ahah, i think stephenie meyers writing is excellent, i think it might be the whole love story, wish i had my own edward cullen :( :DDDD hope that helps :D

uhh. i love twilight because of it's fascinating story, very magnificient. and also i like the characters but not the guys haha.and im not obsessed with edward cullen [at first only]

to be honest i dont no i am a huge twilight fan ...... iv read the series 6 times and i ave even bought an edward cullen doll (i know) but dont judge me as crazy ..... i just think tat in every 1ns life they absulutly luv sumtin or maby a couple of things and 4 tru twilighters i think its the twilight saga!xxxxx
