Did you like Edward before the movie came out?

I loved Edward in the books (and the movies).
I only think that the movie ruined his image because of the attention that the movies garnered and peoples perception of him as a character.

Although I prefer his character in the book, I still love him in the movie.

Yes, I am on Team Edward all the way but I do think that the movie ruined his image since Robert Pattinson didn't play the part so well. (Sorry Rob.)

in the books he was like the only interesting character plus they dint talk about jacob that much so yeah, it was hard not to.

I loved Edward when I read the books and when Catherine Hardwick cast Rob for the role of Edward...I loved him even more...she did a great job of picking someone who brought him to life....

Of course Yes! But when I saw the movie I was kind of disappointed, ,because Edward wasn’t the way I was picture it.(in the book he was more attractive, more muscular, breath take it, like a model…something like that )

I saw the movies before reading the books. When I read the books it was hard to picture a different Edward,but in the book he's supposed to look better than that.

I read the books first and ...yes! I loved Edward from the first time i read about him! I think Robert Pattinson was the best actor to play Edward in the movies but i agree with you. Edward is different in the books and i admit, i like him better there, but i don't think this is Rob's mistake. The directors, perchaps even the scriptwriter has something to do with that.

I always like Edward, because like Stephanie Meyer says, that he is a gentlemen, and its true, gentleman are hard to get these days, and plus he is so sweet and loving and protecting when it comes to Bella (I'm talking about the Edward in the books peoples)

i didnt know him before the movie. My friends took me to the movie premiere of the first 1 and i like his personality but Jacob is hotter...lol!
