People spend too much time on the whole "HOT" thing....the books were extremely successful before the movies came out...the books made you use your imagination on how the characters look ...when it came time to make the movies...they choose actors who closely resembled Stephenie Meyer's description of the characters....and most actors and actresses dont take or turn down just based on another actors looks...yes looks are important but its the skill of an actor to make you believe they are the characters they are playing that is the main thing

Seeing as how this is a shallow society that shun ugly people and praise beauty nonstop (even if the beautiful people are evil) I'd say yes, the book or movie wouldn't have made it this far without hot characters.

Totally. Not trying to be mean or anything but I don't think I would watch it if it didn't have the peoples who play in it now (Kristen, Robert, Taylor ect).

No, but I do see where u are coming from maybe Edward not being hot would ruin it a wee bit, because in the book he is described as glorious and beautiful but not Bella as she is meant to be average and normal I think they r all beautiful and as for the kissing that's just wrong a good actor should be able to kiss anything or anyone for a film to result in better career
