Why didn't they find a better Bella.

Because maybe no other person wanted the job.

The reason is that if you look closely you can see that Bella and Kirsten act the same way the are both quiet,shy,and hardheaded.So next time you see twilight think about for just minute and say to yourself"they both act alike not just because she plays her but like in the books!"

Because they couldnt find a better Bella. She's pefect for the role. Without her Twilight wouldn't be the same. Cant you just see how well they go together in the story and in real life.

They liked Kristen's audition.
It's not that complicated.

Kristen clearly impressed them.

And this is a matter of OPINION. So YOU didn't like Kristen as Bella. Tons of other people DID. I think she did a great job.
And besides, I doubt you could've done any better as Bella.

The Bella they have is P.E.R.F.E.C.T! I would NOT watch it if they didnt have Kristen Stewart as Bella. ;)

They did find the perfect Bella.I cannot see anyone but Kristen Stewart playing Bella.

I think Kristen Stewart was not the best choice. i think they should've chose someone else, but she did a great job in the movies....

I personally think they chose Kristen because Catherine Hardwicke directed the first movie, and to me Kristen is the kind of actress you see in alot of Catherine's movies. Also, this was around the time when Kristen was getting recognition for "Into the Wild".
I dont think Kristen is a bad Bella, but I agree that she was not the best choice. I would have like to have seen Emily Browning, who they say was Stephanie Meyers' first choice, but we got Kristen, and I dont think she is too bad.
