Don't you guys think that some people on fanpop are offended too easily? Shouldn't I (and other people) be able to voice their opion about abything without getting "yelled at"?
omg thank u guys all soo much 4 answering my question! im glad its not only me who thinks that, that im not alone on this. all your answers made me feel alot better and ya know that if sum1 duz say anything that offends ppl its not like they mean it bad or something. thats wat really drives me crazy about the way r way to offended so THANK YOU!!!!
i have met a lot of nice twi fans ...but some people go bit-een ioverboawrd aka you ***** why the **** do you think do you not like twilight you ******* ******...it leaves a bad taste in your mouth and therefore that gives people the thought that EVERYONE is like that.....
Yes. They are usually the newer Twilight fans, and haven't "stepped out into the world" if you know what I mean. They tend to overreact because when you first read Twilight, you're super obsessed with it, but then you understand to see other's points of view. So, I try to ignore it. Or find some sort of compromise or common ground. I don't think it's purposely harmful. In Twilight terms, it's like a new born vampire. lol All the human blood makes them stronger. Well in this case, the twilight obsession is really strong in the beginning, and they defend it anyway they can. :) This wasn't to offend anyone. lol I just thought it was a good analogy. tell me if i'm wrong. But I don't think they mean any harm. Some of their insults are offending, especially when they call you stupid or names like that, but I ignore it or stay in silence. Don't want to start wars. You have an opinion as much as they do.
well i havnt reeli cum across any1 like tht on fp but i no exactly how u feel,and voicing ur opinion is a good thing cuz thts how u gt 2 no ppl :) and get more fans on fp!!!mi brains so clever XD
Yes,that is starting to get on my nevres.When you are going to say something,opposite to them,they are like:"What did you just say?You just said you don't like Breaking Dawn?You are stupid!Everyone loves Breaking Dawn!It is my favourite book!If you don't like it go away!Oh shut up now!Here are only the fans of BD!",I can't stand it!You cannot dare express your opinion and all these newbies are really ready to...eat you!

newbie1: NO!! i read the book first.
longtime fan: is that why i read Twilight after the first book hit the shelves and have been a huge fan ever since and i even MET stephenie, but you just read it a week ago?

In this few months that I have spent on fanpop,with so many other Twi-fans, I have often come across such people. And I don`t mean so sound harsh or something- I just wanna say: Having an OCD doesn`t mean you should go around acting all crazy, lost-touch-with-reality. I completely agree with what mandapanda has said- in the beginning the obsession is in time stronger than yourself-but that doesn`t mean people should be offended by a point of view,different from theirs. We all love Twilight, but nobody loves a bunch of bitching fans-and by no offence taken, I mean no offence taken...Try being more like a newborn Bella for a change :P
