Me personally no I don't think she was in love with Jacob I think she kind of played on the fact that he was in love with her to her advantage she may think she loves him but you don't treat your best friend the way she treated Jacob but thats my opinion and how I see it :)

She loved him...but she was not "in" love with him...her heart would always belong to Edward.

i think that she was in love with Jacob because the way that she would usually look at her but at the same time i think that she wasent.....so you never know

i think bella like edward and jacob but she just don't want to protect jacob but she edward can probaly take care of his self (but jacob and bella would be a great couple.)

Yes, I think Bella was really in love with Jacob. She wanted him to be her friend, but eventually she loved him too. Not as much as she loved Edward (I'm a Team Jacob member but I gotta admit that) because she said so just before the battle in Eclipse/The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

no i dont i think that she was in really bad place after edward left and jacob was her best friend and he loved her so she wanted to give him a chance becuase she was really grateful and probably felt bad for him

I say yes,because it hurt her so much when she had to leave him in what new moon I think it was or maybe eclipse,anyway she does love him but she loves edward more you can love two people at once and I think she did !it always hurt her when she hurt jacob so My vote goes yes!

Yes. Yes, I think she was in love with him. Though she loved him in a different way than she loved Edward. With Edward, her love for him was intense and passionate... Her love for Jacob blossomed out of friendship, so it was a bit different. It wasn't as intense, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. She was in love with him.

I don't think she was i think that she was just trying to forget edward so she stuck with jacob for support and a friend. She may have thought about it but she jumped of the cliff just to see edward she is definitely in love with him. Jacob is just apart of her family like a big brother.

i think she loved him as a brother/friend i don't really think he loves her as much as he thought he did it was some kinda link to nessie before she was even conceived in the book right as nessie leaves Bella Jacob loses the powerful love feeling for Bella then when he sees nessie with rose he imprints on her so it was really nessie he loved all the time
