Sam and Leah were going out, and they're both shapeshifters. In order to become a shapeshifter, you must be able to trace a direct bloodline back to Taha Aki. Does that mean Sam and Leah were RELATED?
That was like the first thing I thought about when I read that they had been dating, but it was something crazy like 3rd couzin 3 times removed, but it still is sorta wierd, however in some small Native American groups they end up having to marry distant cousins because there aren't as many of them in the smaller groups(obviouslly)
