I thought that the Twilight film was really shit but alot of the people I know thought it was excellent. I was wondering if everyone else really liked it or like me, thought it was rubbish.
IT was not shit or rubish i Disagree with you watch it again and if you Dont like it watch something else BUT I GUESS YOU DONT HAVE GOOD TASTE!!!!!=) the movie was awesome×)
@Jacobs_girl Don't bother about the insult... I know MANY people hated the Twilight movie as well. I wouldn't say I hate it. But I was VERY dissapointed... If I compare Twilight to some blockbuster movies, say Transformers. I would be lying if I said Twilight was better. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is I understand what you mean. :)
Honestly, I was terribly dissapointed with the Twilight movie. :( I don't really have anything against the actors and actresses in Twilight! Rob, Tay, Pete, Kellan and Jackson rocks my socks! :) It was the script that actually really pissed me off. The same goes to 'extra' scenes which were not in the book but was in the movie.
A person who has not read the Twilight series before watching the movie would def (I think) say that the movie was shit. I wouldn't really blame them. But if they hate the books, *shrugs* that's their problem but I love the Twilight series!
Anyway, I think the blame should be on Catherine Hardwick's and Melissa Rosenburg's shoulders. They really messed up a good story.
However, I have more confidence in Chris Weitz, given his experience in the Golden Compass, etc. I really hope New Moon would be better, since that's my favourite book. :D
I love the wolves and the vamps! *waves the Team Switzerland flag*
you don't need to love the movie to be a true fan... the movie disappointed a lot of people who adore the books... I like the film but it didn't blow me away, it lacked. Hope New Moon is better Xo
@jannette Just to clarify somethings here... I didn't say that they should say its shit... I just know a LOT of people who didn't read the saga and about 98% hated the movie... I'm just stating that I'm not surprised that they said it sucked... Twilight was rather poorly done...
When I first watced the film I was very... happy! Then I thought that it isn't that much perfect as the book. Some scenes that they were very interesting in the book were cuted..in the film the characters were...confused...They made Angela Weber date..Eric Yorkie...The actor played Charlie was awful..Billie Black was still crap. Then I liked very much the music,I think it is awsum...and then I adore Taylor Lautner(I was a Team Jacob always but when I saw Taylor I loved him much)Then I think Kristen and Rob were excellent in their jobs..they were exactly as I pictured them in my head...But the film in whole wasn't so...excellent.For me is so-so I wasnt very dissapointed but I wasn't so happy. That is how I see it...

i completely agree with you because i saw the movie first, but i still do enjoy watching the movie/
I thought it was brill and robert pattinson was briil too and he is sooo gud lookin and kristen stuart is real gud at actin and the film is sooo romantic and fufilling and entertaining!!! and i personally loved it espiecally Robert!!!!
I think the movie is a really nice companion to the book, but I feel like I only really understood what was going on and how Bella felt because I'd read it. People I know who didn't read the book were confused by her motivation and how quickly she fell for Edward. Plus, I loved Bella in the book and found her a little aggravating in the movie... I thought Stephenie developed a much more likable character than Kristen Stewart did. But I'm an obsessive overthinker and I go way deeper than I should. :) Maybe I should just look at the pretty pictures.

omg me 2...i spend hours thinkin ova things wen it wud b much simpler 2 jst accept it lol
For me, watching the movie the first three times was amazing! I loved everything and was instantly addicted.
However, afterwards, I started to notice how poorly they portrayed Bella and Edward's relationship.
And the movie didn't relate to the book at all! Even the little scenes and details were either omitted [taken out] or changed.
Also, when I first went to see the movie, I had to keep asking my friend questions the whole time because she invtited me to go see it with her before I could finish the book.
Without reading the story first, every scene was confusing, especially the one where Bella "fights" with Edward.
I'm a blonde, so it made it all the more confusing xD
i thought they missed out way too much, for example, the meadow scence was cut short, the biology scene was totally messed up and i realised that the 1st time. i watched it again cause all my friends were still sayong it was great and i found even more wrong with it. i refuse to watch it again and personally i think they should remake it with chris weitz as the director and a completly new script writer. i completly and utterly blame catherine hardwicke and melissa rosenberg. chris wietz will be able to turn new moon into a great movie. i had no problem with the actors, they did the best with what they were given. the only reason twilight has got so many awards is because of the books which are seriously popular.
Well i really love the movie not nessciarily (* spelling?) b/c the movie is spectacular but because it had a great cast and it was longly awaited for. the book was wayyy better though and i hate the fact they changed like half of the stuff that happened but i am awaiting the second one so much . overall i thought the movie gets a b+ !
I agree somewhat with you. The movie was rubbish compared to the book. But accually getting to see the characters acts out the parts with their "beautiful faces" (Robert Pattinson), made the movie awesome!!!
