For my part, he made me discover tons of amazing works of arts, although before reflecting upon this question I had never truly realized yet his impact on my life! Made me listen to: Van Morrison (Awesome!!) Laura Marling (Touching!) Kings of Leon (“Closer”, anyone?) Made me read: Vanity Fair by William M. Tackeray (read 600+ pages all because of Rob’s missing scene in this adaptation! If you’re into Austen or Brontë already or in any historical-Brit books, give it a shot! It’s as true about today’s society as it was in my beloved appearances-was-everything-in-society England!) Ulysses by James Joyce (Due to his answer in an interview to the question “which book would you buy if you were left on an island! It’s English literature at its finest) Miscellaneous: One word. “Ray Bans”. Upcoming: Will definitively read Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant, thankfully (and am I ever glad for it to be my mother tongue!) I’ll be able to read it in its original version, in French. However as much as I love Rob, I’ll forego smoking.
Forgot his Jack Nicholson admiration! I had already seen "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" so when last weekend "As Good As It Gets' came up on tv I watched it and it's sooo good!! We can clearly witness some of Rob's mannerism, what with the Ray Bans & the "Days Like This" song by Morrison!
ok, try you, do you hv ANY IDEA who the Blond Rob has been hanging out with on and off?? first @ the SLS Hotel and then in Tribeca, I saw them going into 200 Chambers ( a large loft building, she was like 5'3 , long blond hair and wearing a navy baseball cap???? I got a fuzzy pic, but I don't think she's a celeb?? hv you seen any of this anywhere?? JS1
I've read a couple of the books he suggested. And I listen to his music on my ipod. He's very soulful and sings from his heart. I love that. True artistry. I've listened to Van Morrison. And I keep an eye out for Jack Nicholson. I notice him in alot more movies. lol And I'm gonna get Raybans. But alot of stars wear them, I notice that more often too. lol
