At first I hated it so much.
When Edward left I was just like "Okay, we all know he's coming back, it'll just be a few chapters."
So I was reading through the chapters quickly, just wanting to get to when he comes back.
After about 2-3 chapters, I got frustrated, and I skimmed throught the book looking for Edward's name, him speaking, any of the Cullens speaking, anything like that.
I actually didn't even miss that much all things considered, just details mostly, I only missed the "Third wheel" chapter.
I didn't ever bother reading New Moon until after I'd finished the saga one time.
Then I was sad and missed Twilight, so I was like "Well, I never did finish New Moon...".
It's really odd now, I love New Moon, but it's still so hard for me to get through chapters 3-17.
The reason why I love it so much does have some to do with Jacob, I liked him best in this book, but I think it has more to do with Bella, and the lessons she and Edward learn, and if I were to just do read the reunion between them it wouldn't have the same sense of relief as it does if you read all those chapters of torture for Bella.
I don't know though, maybe I'm just a masocist.
Hahahaha.
