Maybe cuz the pale dead guy as you put it is sweet, caring passionate and a gentleman, where as your "young sexy guy" can be a complete jerk and doesn't love Bella nearly as much as the one and only awsome Edward!
Jacob maybe a jerk sometimes but Edward is possevive controlling of Bella telling her who to see and what to do!! Jacob can give Bella a life where she wouldn't have to give up her friends and her family by becoming a vampire she loses that
Um she doesnt lose that stuff...lets see she has a baby with EDWARD, she still sees her father and attends family events such a Christmas at Charlies house. So actually she is with the love and her life and still gets to have and spend time with her family.
but she gets baby and her father in her new lkife thanks to jacob.we don't know how she would live without him.even edward knew that she needs jacob couse he was planning to go for him.

FYI 2 ALL THE PPL WHO GO 4 TEAM JACOB: Just because someone is "hot" or has a nice torso, doesn't mean they're better than anyone. Seriously getting sick and tired of the cynical people who think that way. It's what's on the inside that matters. Nothing else should matter.

B. Edward--in case you haven't noticed--is a vampire. So, yes, immortal, beautiful vampires "sparkel" not men.
C. Jacob isn't a real man either...most men aren't shape-shifters.
D. There's a reason I put Jacob after Edward.

You don't have to be sorry:) Jacob is just pushy, and there are alot of reasons why I hate him. Edward is so sweet, which is only one of the reasons that I love him.
yah i agree edward is a man that spakels and he is tough but jacob no just because he kills vampires doesnt mean hes tough he acts like it but he not so yah edward is my choice
Plus Edward loves Bella, and she loves him wayyyyyy more than Jacob. She even said it verbally in Eclipse. But Edward is more like me (reading, music) than Jacob, so that's why I like Edward better.
Well I have a friend who sparkles and she is awsome! JK but seriously you can't say you don't like sparkly people unless you have met one, have you? Oh and lastly I love puppies but regardless of that fact GO TEAM EDWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
TEAM JACOB ALL THE WAY... okay i know u guys say that we only like him because of his body. we r in team jacob because he is awsome and fun not all because of his body. plus edward is boring and jake is fun. he can protect anybody way better then edward. but u do have to recognize that he is good looking. and that he is a faithful friend. AND BY THE WAY REAL MEN DON'T FREAKING SPARKLE!!

Mandybooboo1232 SERIOUSLY wow...Just because RobPattzLover7 is team Edward and you aren't doesn't give you the right to call her that. I am TEAM EDWARD not everyone is Team Jacob, so get over it and stop being so childish.
Seriously people? Is it that hard to spell sparkle? Oh look I just did! AMAZING! Do you really think telling all us sane people who are Team Edward that real men don't sparkle is going to change are minds the least bit?! Well it won't, it just makes us argue are case harded and since we have the winning arguement being as there never was much of a contest between the two, why would you want to provoke us? All we will do is fight your silly Jacob theory with proof from the books that Edward cares about her way more than Jacob EVER did. Exmple: All Edward wants is for Bella to be happy, even if it means he isn't. If Bella had wanted to choose Jacob instead of Edward, Edward would have let her go because he just wants for her to be happy. On the other hand Jacob was not so cool about her choosing Edward and couldn't except the fact that the person he says he loves his finally happy. If he cared about her as much as Edward did he would have let her go knowing she was happy. It is like the expression "If you love something set it free, if it comes back it is always yours, if it doesn't it never was."
Team EVERYONE. I like Edward. I like Jacob. But personally, if I had to choose a Twilight guy, it would be Emmett. He's sexy, he's strong, he's funny... what else do I need?!
All the characters have good qualities & bad qualities. How about instead of insulting people just because they are this "Team" or that "Team", you just respect their opinion and move on!
