Twilight Series Question

This is my comment to link What do you think?

Okay, at least read this all the way through, ok?
Reasons 1/2: Bella being clumsy doesn't really matter.
3: I agree that she's pretty useless sometimes.
4: She did not attempt to commit suicide, she was cliff diving for a thrill.
5: Meyer is a mother of three, and it's fine to hate her books, but you don't have to hate her as a person.
6: She openly admits that she's not a writer, she had a dream, started writting and it became a book, and she is very modest about it.
7: What if the first person who thought about writing vampires didn't do it because it wasn't "the way things were"?
8: She doens't even put herself in with the authers
9: I'm with you on that one. I think that loving a story is great, but you should also still live your life.
10: Hahaha, well yes, but that happens in most stories.
11: He has many flaws, only Bella is so blinded by her love that she can't see them. He knows how flawed he is.
12: Bella is supposed to be a plain character, but I still disagree.
13: Hahaha....because all the Forks highschool boys are hormonal and will take anything new.
14: You could say the same thing about Juliet.
15: Some parents are like that, but that is true that it's awfully convienient. Then again, that's probably why it's fiction.
16: It's true, I do wish that she had developed the characters more.
17: Bella's just really bad at everything, like with being clummsy and all that. She can't help that.
18: Everyone has they're personal oppinions.
19: It does sound creepy, and in Midnight Sun (Edward's story) he is thinking the same thing. But if they had been dating at the time, it wouldn't have been creepy to people.
20: It can be cheesy at times. Of course! Almost all stories have they're moments.
21: Stephenie Meyer has her own way of writting.
22: What? You're not allowed to like both? Well better kill me than.
23: Bella is very obsorbed in her love interest.
24: There are flaws in everything.
25: Jacob: 'You don't worry about the fangs?" B

Hi. Well I can see that you completely aired your views upon The Twilight Series, and have received a numerous amount of negative responses, along with a couple who feel exactly the way you do.

I would like to explain the reason why most teenage girls, as myself, or even older women have for expressing and defending to such extremes goddess Stephenie Meyer and the whole Saga. I believe it is the whole issue of sexual tension that exists between Bella and Edward, which you don’t get alot nowadays where raging hormonal teenagers just have a couple of sips of some cheap beer and start undressing themselves while playing spin the bottle. Also, the loss of the art of romanticism, ofcourse most of the phrases in the series are extremely corny and sometimes cliche and also appear very “suicidal”, but which author has the guts to publish a book with such literary errors and views that are not present any longer in this nation?, and what person would not like to have an “unconditional” love who suffers while being at your side ?(either for exquisite and tasty smell or because you are incredibly gorgeous and I can’t makeout with you), or have someone who is even the least willing to express suicidal thought, without the fear of being considered a perfect candidate of the psychiatrist, because they aren’t able to live by your side?

Its not the perfect panorama that should be attained as a model for teenage girls, but it just shows how much lack of love a lot of people around the globe have and grasping it with a vampire/human novel, makes everyone daydream.

Which is exactly why I am pro-twilight. Because maybe now teenagers will have an inner conflict in deciding whether or not they really do love a person instead of just going around dancing in circles saying, i love john, and later seeing the guy hooking up with a chick in the corner, and later running in circles saying i love mark. I know that a lot of people especially men, criticize the character edward because they believe that now women will unfallibly wait for a vampire love until the grow old, but I believe that edward is a good fictional character, not because he is “gorgeous” but because he raises the average standards for men especially the “today” man who has lost a lot of respect for women and lets just say anyone. ( i see it all the time, i live in the city and trust me when I say loss of respect. )

As for Isabella Swan, Yes. She is clumsy. Yes. She is sometimes drowned in “edward” thoughts, but it is only because she is in love with him. Maybe it might have started with the fact that he is almost godlike but throughout the series her personality evolves and she does recognize his flaws (she mentions how he is always blaming himself for the damage that she causes upon herself and how he is extremely overprotective of her )and she does go beyond the means to break some of his rules.(hello. she went to la push while he was away, and also went to save her mom even though he told her DONT GO BELLA.) She is strength in character because she is stubborn, but she also shows her dominant side(hello. she convinced edward to have sexual intercouse with her even though he had said no.), and yet she can be completely fragile and defensless. Which in total equals perfect balance between both characters because they have a mutualistic relationship that evens out each others flaws.
