Actually this is explained in the book (in Eclipse, chapter 5 "Imprint"):
""When we get enough control to quit . . . ," Jacob said. "When we stop phasing for a solid length of time, we age again. It's not easy." He shook his head, abruptly doubtful. "It's gonna take a really long time to learn that kind of restraint"
So its all about control. To age or not depends only on the wolfs...
I think your confused, Renesmee won't stop aging at 7. It will take her only 7 years to grow into an adult and at this point she will stop aging completely. This is good for Jake and Nessie because Jake doesn't age either, so they will be able to be together forever. Also, Jake is able to control wether or not he ages, with practice he could make himself start aging again.
yes renesmee will top growing up after about 7years... but that's fine for jakob coz he's a shape-shifter and he doesn't age either! he starts becoming older only when he quits from his wolf form. so he just wouldn't do that.. besides the cullen would stay there, near la push, and most of the shape shifters should stay in their form coz it would be kind of dangerous (trusting them or not) to let the people there without protection... that means that renesmee and jake can stay together forever!

but EVENTUALLY they will need to move from forks because people will notice none of the cullens are aging!! plus if you had the choice would you want to stay in a wolf form for the rest of ETERNITY???
Well, like it says in the books, Jacob would have to have a lot of self control.
But imprinting Stephenie describes by saying that you would do ANYTHING for her.
So maybe he'll be able to stop if she needed him to.
Jacob may be around 25 "theoritically" but he will begin aging again after the vampire population dies down and the threat no longer exists. I do see that as a problem for them since the the other "half human" was 150 and had stopped again as well. Would be interesting to see that play out in a new book.

I just wondered what is going to happen to the rest of the pack who are imprinted? Their soulmate (Claire, Kim, Emily, Jake's sister Rachel) won't stop aging, and Quil, Jared, Sam and Paul will stop....So what will happen to them, will they move or the Cullens?
They do eventually begin to age again after there is no more threat. But the Cullens will have to move and soon. Carlisle can't pull off his age much longer.
well renesmee grows fast, so after 7 years she will b the size of a 18 year old, or something. Once renesmee is the age of Jacob, he will start aging again and then they will grow old together<3. I sure wish i was renesmee, i LOVE Jacob. I wish i could grow old with him<3
