Edward Cullen is a vampire, and according to the books, vampire don't bleed. Like, they don't have blood in their bodies. But then, my question is: how can Edward Cullen get an erection?

I think I remember Stephenie Meyer saying somewhere that his venom works as any 'body fluid' would work (blood and the rest...). That's how Bella got pregnant.

I don't actually remember exactly what she said so if someone actually knows it'd be helpful.

SMeyer's whole thing makes no sense, since when does venom get people pregnant?!
