You mean Edward didnt get to choose the name? ( you have a way of words). Anyway, i dont think Edward was to thrilled of the idea of having a baby with Bella. After all, it was never planned and it almost killed his wife.Plus, its Edwards ( non- blood related) mother and Bellas mothers names put together. Im sure he didnt mind that.

I agree with Twilightpup. That Edward didn't bond with Renesmee the way Bella did. He only really saw the baby as "a thing" killing his wife (as first). Also once she was born because it her name was a combo of both "mothers" he was happy. :)
i agree with twilightpup and he WILL do anything to keep her happy.

one he would do anything for Bella, two he hated his child at first, three he's a gentlemen, four Bella was the one who loved her first and she suffered trying to keep that baby alive so yeah.
