Twilight Series Question

Do you think the way they portrayed the vampires sparkling in the movies is weird?

I thought it sounded cool in the books but it's like extremely cheesy and uncool on screen. What do you guys think?

Agreed! I mean, what happened to Count Dracula?! That's why I like Jacob. He's fierce. It's kinda hard to act mean when you sparkle.

But werewolves are hotter and don't look like they use an excessive amount of body glitter :).

Honestly, it's exactly how I imagined it would look. I've always thought that the vampires sparkling in the sun was kinda weird. In the books, I was able to play the story in my head and pretend that they didn't sparkle, but seeing it on the big screen irritated me.

No. I think it's sweet and so sexy. It's different from the everyday overly used vampire stuff that we normally read and see in movies. I like something different for a change.

I prefer old fashioned vampires, who are evil. That's why the werewolves will always have my support in this series.

It doesn't bother me in the books and I like the way it looks in the movies but it's kind of weird if you think about the original vampire myth. A vampire sparkling in the sun when he's supposed to burn ? How do you come to this ?

i understand it because i bought the offical illustrated guide and stephnie meyer had done an interview with author shannon hale and said that she had a dream of this man and woman. the woman was normal but the man was sparkling and when she woke up she didnt want to forget it so she wrote the meadow scene first finished to the end and then went back to the start.
so i dont find it weird
