well last announcment that stephanie meyer wrote concerning midnight sun was on 2nd april this year (there were various jokes on 1st April saying than MS will be released) where she said it's still on hold and that other projects are now more important to her.

awww!thats dissapointing, but at least its not canncelled, thanks!
I think she will continue to write it but she was pretty angry when someone leaked it on the internet, so maybe she's waiting for everything to calm down first. (I think she's working on a Mermaid/fantasy book atm though)
