Hi, personally this is my opinion. First of all I can agree like alot of twilight fans that the movie was not exactly what we can understand to be perfection. We all have imaginations and therefore we imagined the characters to be more beautiful, or to have certain traits to be as pronounced as we imagined them. I remember when the cast was selected, there was alot of commotion about whether or not they were going to be good for the part or not, alot of people were against Rober Pattinson being Edward, and specially Kristen Stewart being Bella. But in my point of view, I believe that the movie did do the book justice. It is extremely hard for any person in the world to try to interpret words into images, and let alone compress a very long and detailed book into a couple of hours or what not. I think the movie was great, we couldn't expect to see the whole "love" transformation that took place between Bella and Edward because of the time limit, also the producers didn't exactly know how to handle the fact that they weren't completely sure what the fans were going to like and what they weren't going to lack until the movie came out. There were parts that weren't in the book, but I think they were fantastic! For example, the whole "This stuff just doesn't exist, it does in my world" Climbing in the trees, scene was beautiful, along with the whole piano escenario. New Moon will not be accepted by me to have a lack of doing the book justice, because now everybody knows what fans didn't originally like from the first movie, and therefore they have a chance to improve themselves by alot, as well as the actors, based on their acting skills. Besides, we all know a book is always better than a movie.
