Obviously because the books have more detail, that's just the main thing. But also, the books tell the real story. They make the movies, and it's basically just a summary, an overview. The movies don't have every line, every thought, every description that the book has. In the movies, the story is often changed or cut up. But no matter what happens in the movies, the books are always going to be the real story. You can watch the movie after reading the book and say, "That didn't really happen". But the book tells us everything that really happened. The whole story, all of it. The book is like the truth, even if it is fiction, while the movie tends to exaggerate bend the truth. But despite what may happen in the movies, there's no denying the truth. If you ask someone if Alice kidnapped Bella, the movie will tell you no, but the book will tell you yes, and since the book is the truth, the answer is yes.
