Do you think Edward was kinda being an asshole in some parts of Eclipse?

Hmmm...I wouldn't say he's being an asshole but he is kind of going over the line. Bella obviously didn't appreciate being locked away from the outside world because of Victoria, and the not-visiting-Jacob thing is just wrong. He says he's fine with Bella seeing Jacob, but he sure didn't act fine with it, he should have just admitted he didn't like it. Now, if you really want me to say the time I thought he was an asshole, it was when he wanted to kill Renesmee. I wanted to slap him at that moment for a handful of reasons...

yes i think that.becuz @ da end of eclipse, he wanted to make bella a vampire @ da end n charlie juzt got dun tellin her if she gonna leve or sumdin she has 2 warn him b4 do n e thinf. so ......yeah

noooppp!!! its in his nature 2 b overprotective so i can't blame him at all!! actual in some parts of that bk i think he was too patient! lol if it was me i would have kicked some ass out of jake already!!

no, not at all! edward is completly right! bella is still too fragil and can get off guard easily!

I know that he was acting like very controlling over him but i understood the reason why... remember that Bella was only human and Jacob can be very dangerous when he is upset. Remember that if Jacob would have lost control and hurt Bella, Edward would have killed Jacob. So i don't think he as being am a*s. I also read that some of you were upset that he wanted Bella to have an abortion, once again remember that Bella was human and she would have die if he wouldn't have acted so quickly after she gave birth, well Nessie rip herself out. So once again Edward was protecting Bella.
