add lots of people to your fan list by going to their profiles and scrolling down on the left side of the screen until you find 'Add to Fan List', then click on it. they will be added to your fan list, and if they want to become fans with you, they will confirm your request and you are likely to recive a message in return stating that.
as for medals...almost all the medals that you are gonna get are going to be from props people give you for images, comments, etc. there are medals that are given to you if you rate items (ask me about that later in a message or something) you can also get medals if you manage to invite people from other social websites successfully. if you have any more questions, add them as a comments below my answer. :)
If you want fans than add some, most of them will add you back :)
And to get medals, you need to be activ on the spot you want medals for!Adding videos or links for example, people rating that!And if enough people rating your stuff you getting medals!
