	sk91 picked Unexpected couples : Well, I can answer on that one :P While I do ship 'meant to be' couples A LOT. And in triangles I usually pick the first one, I think unexpected couples are more exciting xD (LoVe, Mondler, Candy) posted over a year ago.

	jemgrl323 picked Unexpected couples : Well it kind of depends on what you mean by "Couples that are supposed to be together since 1x01"... do you mean the audience thinks it or the writers of the show? Because you used the Naley icon as an "unexpected couple".. and they were definitely unexpected for the audience, but Mark Schwahn has said many times that he knew from the very beginning he was going to make Nathan & Haley the power house couple on OTH. So just because a couple doesn't seem destined in 1x01 doesn't mean the intent was not there all along for them to get together. But of my favorite couples- many of the characters weren't even in the pilot so they couldn't have been an obvious couple from the starts (like Brooke, Tara, Oz, Julian..)... Brooke & Lucas, Monica & Chandler, Willow & Tara, Bo & Hope (Hope didn't join the show until years after Bo... even though they are one of daytime's best and most famous couples), Nathan & Haley, Willow & Oz, and Brooke & Julian all were unexpected for the audience. Buffy & Angel are questionable... they have a great scene in 1x01, but I wouldn't say it's clear he's supposed to be her love interest. I think Lois & Clark (new adventures of Superman) and Jim & Pam are the only couples in my top 11 (I can't narrow it down to top 10)that were clearly going to get together right from the first episode. posted over a year ago.
