The way I feel about some of them is similar to the way I feel about PETA. They open their minds to the cold, hard truth about things most people prefer to simply not think about, but their methods of educating others can be very harsh and can unfortunately come across antagonistic.

Some go about it quite nicely though. I've seen some good posts that bring up issues but go about them in a comical way (e.g. privileged people who aren't afraid to laugh at themselves once in a while, or a comic strip where minorities defend themselves through hilarious yet clever dialogue).

Some people enjoy arguments and drama, I know, but I don't think that starting an argument is necessarily the way to get them on your side! It's important that, when you have some information you want to share, you do it in a way that people will respond to for the right reasons!

I mostly see them wrongfully attack people and it's ridiculous. But there are some out there that share their opinions&outlook in much more peaceful ways.

See, I'm gonna be the butt-hole here. I have only encountered the negative ones thus far. I'm hoping that'll change, but until then I have a very negative view on them. However I will acknowledge that not all of them can possibly be crazy.

well, the ideas they're attempting to spread across are good, but the way people general go about it on tumblr can often be rather toxic, that's my take on it. i consider myself pro-sj in light of that, it's just often that their way of executing the ideas are harmful but that's irrelevant to the concept itself
