I've tried watching the show and I can't. I stopped after the third episode. I think the show is terrible. The books are so much better.

I love the books, I've read the first 7 (book #4 had to be reread 3 times lol).
But, the show just brings all the characters I love to life so vividly and has actually helped me to like certain characters from the book I couldn't stand (Bill), or just never really appreciated prior to seeing them on screen (Lafayette,Rene,Maryann,Tara,ect).

And Melodyrose, you should really watch the other 9, because the first 3 are easily the weakest of the entire first season. It picks up when Eric is introduced in 1x04, and 05,06 are easily the strongest out of the entire first season.

This is a right now thing. I just started the books. I am getting into them, but I am still on the first book.

i Think its hard to pick because you get different experience from each . i try not to compare them too much, they are each their own thing in a way

Can't chose-keep changing my pick! I like both for different reasons! I only read the books because of the show and I love them! But I can't read the books without picturing characters from the show!

They are so different and yet have the same basic plots. I like them both for different reasons.
