I gave this answer to someone else 8 days ago; "News sites are saying "very soon" so I would say in the next month or two. He's busy at the moment with the movie, helping out Linda McMahon with her campaign and with his new job at WWE Headquarters as "Senior Advisor"."
He is making a 1 night only appearance at a WWE Supershow (un-televised show) on October 30th.
Also I am going to assume that if/when he comes back he will be face as everyone has been waiting for his return so if they keep Cena heel long enough he may feud with him. Then again with Triple H out this long he may never actually come back long enough for a solid storyline.
